XTL

One of the best popular science books that I have ever read.

Richly endowed with over 100 awe-inspiring images from the depths of space, XTL effortlessly tackles some of the most complicated aspects of astronomy and physics including the Big Bang, the birth of stars and planets, the origin of life on Earth and the big question - "are we alone in the universe ?".

It is difficult to find fault with this book, which will appeal most to teenagers and upwards, but I should warn you that it is impossible to put down and you will be sorry when you finish it !
