On the day of the Rendlesham incident, I was in Beeston and it was a terrible snowy day. I took my dogs for a walk and saw a strange light move across the sky. It then stopped not very much higher than the roofs of the houses, swayed a bit, and then zoomed off. Joan in Bury

Well there were a large number of sightings around that time, so it may have been the same as that seen in Rendlesham.
