Meera Senthilingam

This week, we find out how scientists in the US have created a synthetic, man-made organism which could benefit the field of vaccine production and how the government in Zimbabwe are hoping to pass a new information and communications bill in order to improve the countries economic situation through technological development.
We also investigate the science behind the human pappiloma virus, or HPV, a virus which causes the majority of cases of cervical cancer, one of the main cancers affecting women worldwide, and in question of the week we discover why zebras and donkeys sound the way they do!
