As a human ...I think I am NOT affected by girlies pheromones...I know that girlies are not affected by mine because as ewe know I don't do hygiene !!...though....I gather pheromones don't smell ...or do they ? [;)]..
...however...it is so obviously apparent in the rest of the animal and insect world that Pheromones are a major way to communicate and control....even flowers do it to control insects..
My questions are :
Has it been proven that humans ARE indeed affected by pheromones ?...if the answer is NO...then why do we produce them ?....is it something then that will eventually evolutionise (new word !) out ?
-
"Evolutionize" LOL ( New American Version!!!)
I thought his research was interesting! on the pheromones...check it out!
I do think there is something to it, but I don't know what! LOL!

I think it's pretty generally accepted that pheremones can and do affect human behaviour. Just because we don't recognise them as a "smell" doesn't mean our noses aren't detecting it...
Women release pheremones at some stage of their menstrual cycle which causes other women living in close proximity to them to tend to synchronise with them (an utter pain in the neck if living in a shared house with a group of girls, believe me..).
There are lots of other examples out there....

Yes this happens at work with us ladies also. we have very few men on site..

I live in a house with 6 other girls...after 2 months we were all cycling together, could that be due to pheromones? Is it a bit soon?

I do not have the equipment nor the plumbing to comment on this subject but I wanted to post to it anyway.
For Neil - he need attention so much!

meg i don't think that's impossible. with that many girls some were bound to be on the same or similar schedule anyway. must be hell around there sometimes
