Title: Is it possible a Supernova is also the end and beggining of a Black hole?

Most things it seems have an opposite in our universe, so what is the opposite of a Black hole?

If information can be passed between parallel universe's then what would you need to look for when our universe is so called "receiving information" from a Black hole in another universe?

I think you mean 'quasar' and 'gamma ray burst' not 'supernova'.

So no one has any ideas as to what the opposite of a Blackhole is?

Well, some think of it as the black hole might become a 'white hole' if seen from its other 'end', wherever that may be? Like you have a connection between 'dimensions' where what we call 'black holes' sux in material here to, possibly, 'spew it out' on the other side? If I remember right??  But as we have different sizes on the 'black holes' we think us to know it becomes slightly weird as one might assume that there should be some balance to it?

Also those 'white holes' are expected too look a lot like a black hole, meaning that even though they in reality 'spew out' they are expected to attract, all of this from a very vague memory. and the way to define a 'white hole' is to state that its 'singularity' lies in the future whereas a black hole has its singularity in the past.

Thanks Yor_On, the next question would be, where are these white holes? We have billions and billions of Blackholes in the visible universe so where are the white holes?  I expect what the instruments need to be investigating are Blackholes that are spewing out matter?

If you expect this universe to be the result of something like that idea then there should only be one 'white hole' for each universe. Where is our center :) That's where it should be if so. As for how to find it? CMB maybe, I don't really know, and I don't expect it to be so myself I'm afraid. I look at this universe as a cosmic 'fault', created in the Big Bang as we see it. Like a stress fault/tension 'inside' something else. We're inside it, but we can't look out :) But we might guess, rather good?

Still, maybe we have some more guys that have ideas on white holes here?
