Title: Vitamin E

I have heard two reports in the last few months that taking 400 IU's of Vitamin E a day can increase the risk of heart attack.  Up to this time we have been taking it to decrease the risk.  Can anyone explain why this would be so and would you stop taking this dosage?

Hi Kelly

You are correct. Contrary to perceived wisdom, Vitamin E supplementation has been associated with an increase in cardiovascular risk.
