Title: A fly is held in place in an elevator by air pressure

I disagree with Dave's explanation regarding the fly in the elevator [in this podcast:  http://www.thenakedscientists.com/HTML/podcasts/show/2454/]. When the elevator moves, all of the contents move with it, including the air molecules. The pressure from the moving ceiling (or floor) pushes the air ahead of it. This is going to tend to keep the fly in the same relative position, even without requiring the fly to change its action.
