Title: Dam !!..Dam the whole lot of ewe !! ( A question about Dams !!)

Dear Dam Meisters !!

This is a Dam !!

Nice isn't it ?...notice how well kept on one side a lot of water is ?


How do they do that ?....how do they construct a big wall thing in the middle of something which needs damming ?

I don't  know...but I want to !!

the most reasonable thing to do, would be to build a bridge as its base, and then work at one pillar at a time, untilll you reach the full damn, im not sure of my theory, but i think thats it.

Because don't forget, looking at the picture, looks as if its a rapid river, but chances are, it was much calmer before the dam was built, and if you look on top, it is also a bridge.

When the Hoover dam was built they diverted the Colorado river.

They made lots of dynamighty bangs that blocked the original watercourse with boulders and stuff when the new 1 was ready (also made by dynamighty bangy things).

Dr Eth will be pleased to know that I saw a whole prog about how beavers build dams !!...d'ya think that's what humans do ?...get beavers to build the things !...cement a relationship with them to construct a dam relationship ?

THANK YOU for your answers.......I wonder if all Dams have bridges/walkways ?..I guess they must eh ?

Ewe certainly are !!

The beavers in question had diverted a whole river !!...it was a mammoth undertaking !!
