kevin asked the Naked Scientists:
Dear naked scientists,
I canĀ give myself goosebumps at will at anytime. I have heard it may have something to do with the sympathetic nervous system but am not really sure. Whilst I know why we get goose bumps when it'sĀ cold I do not know why it happens when it is not cold.
Love the show (http://www.thenakedscientists.com/HTML/podcasts/)
