I'm not impressed. In fact, I am seriously UNimpressed. I may even go so far as to say I am disgusted with Auntie Beeb.
"Why?", I hear you ask, "What has happened?". I shall explain.
There's a program on called "Waterloo Road". It's about a school. The deputy head was teaching a maths class. He wrote "1.618" on the board, pointed to it & said "Pi".
NOOOOO... pi is NOT 1.618!
The situation was retrieved to a certain extent when he started talking about the Golden Ratio - which is, indeed, 1.618 - but it wasn't quick enough to slip past the beaver [
]
How can the BBC have allowed such an error in the script to pass scrutiny? I shall write to the chairman. I shall write to The Times. There shall be questions in The House.
