Do you mean can we learn to be intelligent.
you are right tommya300 but what really made me thinking about the intelligence is in fact when I saw the capability of some autistic people with remarkable almost unbelievable savant mental abilities that seem to be far beyond the ken of others. take the example of kim peek , Stephen Wiltshire, Daniel Tammet .... with the malfunctioning of something in their brains, I wonder if we normal people can learn something from them, I can seem strange, silly maybe but Imagine what we can do if we have only the half of their stupendous capacities. the question now is how, I have an idea about it but looking for your opinions first
I am not smart enough to be Autistic...
I think that learning things and trying hard to think and make the brain functioning is so different from just receiving information all the time like living cool with his TV, I think that with all thinks that we already know and keep discovering now just can make the brain more lazy if we are not aware about the danger of keeping it receiving things so being more passive than active. In my point of view being aware of our ignorance is the most important first awareness, every thing else will be just links of a very long chain of knowledge creativity and amelioration, the needed results of being intelligent.

Yep sounds like part of a list of Levels leading to "Self Awareness"Level 0: ConfusionLevel 1: DifferentiationLevel 2: SituationLevel 3: IdentificationLevel 4: PermanenceLevel 5: Self-consciousness or ‘‘meta’’ self-awareness
