assuming my info is correct the equation for a black hole is As=2MG/C2. What do the letters stand for? it gets me frusturated trying to figure it out[:(!]

The correct formula is Rs = 2MG/c^2
This means that the critical radius R (subscript) s is equal to twice the mass times G the gravitational constant (6.67x10^-8 dyne centimeteres squared divided by the acceleration due to gravity on the earth) divided by c the speed of light (in centimeteres per second) squared.
For a mass approximately equal to the masss of the sun 2x10^33 grams
This radius is about 3km and is sometimes called the Schwarzchild radius
so if you can take the sun which has a radius of about 700,000 km and squash it into a radius if 3km you will have made a black hole
