The mechanism behind alcohol-induced hypertension is unclear.
Some reports suggests that low to moderate alcohol intake may reduce the risk of coronary heart diseases:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24343181/
In addition, it was suggested that reducing alcohol consumption may lower blood pressure and may prevent hypertension:

So, could alcohol-induced hypertension be prevented by low to moderate drinking and doing exercises ?

Alcohol-induced hypertension is primarily confined to heavy drinkers e.g. 5 or more drinks per-day [L. Clark et al 1985].

Thanks, exothermic. [:)]
I guess however wine has more cardioprotective properties than beer or other types of alcohol. I'll keep this in mind and drink one for you!
