Title: Hard to grasp
Post by: coachandemail-online on 17/11/2008 23:52:33

I find it interesting how reluctant we are to grasp that we may heal with energy.

What is your experience with this?

Reluctant? Define what you mean by "heal with energy", and provide strong supporting evidence gained from vigorously controlled, peer-reviewed and repeated experiments. Then we can have a meaningful conversation.

It's not any fault that we are not yet able to measure energies on multiple dimensions, much less proving the existence of extra dimensions.  Building the supercollider is the next step toward that in fact.  I'm here not to discuss my experience with the specific energy I'm talking about, but to discuss opinion on the matter healing with energy. You can read about Howard Y. Lee, if you wish.  He is the most knowledgeable about the matters of energy, when it comes to what it is I do.

We are always on the edge of discovering something new.  We are always breaking the yoke of reality and expanding our knowledge base.

Thanks

How can you have experience with something that can't be measured? Sorry, but that just doesn't make any sense.

The kind of phenomena that supercolliders may discover and which quantum physics predict have nothing to do with energy healing.

All this 'laying on of hands' and such like is at best no more than a placebo feel good effect, at worst it is a con.

Two friends went to a power healing event. One had a bad stutter, the other had to use crutches.
Called up on to the stage, the power healer told them go behind the screens and they would be cured.
"Pray for our friends" the healer urged the audience.
"Friend, your stutter is cured, you can talk normally" cried the healer. "Friend, you too are cured, throw away your crutches".
A voice came from behind the screen saying "Hhh eeee heee hhhe hees f f fff ff fal ffallen oo o o over".

Bill & Ted were ageing cricket enthusiasts. They made a pact with each other where whoever should die first would return in ghostly form to tell the other if cricket was played in Heaven.

The day came when Ted attended Bill’s funeral. Ted drunk a toast to his old mate and went home to bed. During that night, Ted was awoken by a strange chill in the air. "It's me Ted, your old chum Bill” said a ghostly figure. “Bill! What are doing here, your dead, I went to your funeral yesterday” said Ted. “Yes, I died and went to Heaven. I’ve come back to keep my promise.” “Oh! My, tell me Bill, do they play cricket in Heaven?” Ted enquired of his dearly departed. “I have some good news and some bad news for you Ted. The good news is they do play cricket in Heaven, on superb pitches, all day and every day. All the great cricketer’s are here.  Today I was playing with the one and only W.G. Grace!” said the ghost of Bill. “The bad news is that you’re opening batsman on Tuesday.”

Ooer, I seem to have scraped a whole in the bottom of this barrel, anyone got another barrel I can scrape?

Throughout time there have always been the majority, who will only discuss what is currently accepted.  That is safe, but if we don't look beyond what we currently understand, we will not expand.  In fact we have to expand.

I understand your sceptisizm.  It too is needed.  My friend is an athiest.  Very smart.  I love him dearly for his wit and insights, but he's not doing so well.  He is overweight and can't shake his bad diet, even though he wants to.  What he doesn't understand, or want to experience, is the work that I do.  It would help, but he doesn't want to be helped.  I can't do anything about that.

After offering to help him a few times I stopped.  He doesn't have an interest.  He also doesn't do much of anything about his admitted issues.  He says he has a high level of tolerance.  Well I can say that it is not tolerance, but negative patterns that keep him in his loop. Most will wait till they are in real trouble, and say "what is that stuff you do?"

Western medicine can not address emotional issues.  Weight lifting does not align your mind and body.  If one were to practice these Light Of Life Longevity Exercises the added energy and alignment I speak of will, truly aid those looking to recreate their reality.  If you toss it aside without trying it, you can not honestly speak about its validity.

OK I got a good one... when he was younger, my brother was one day speeding down a highway in New Jersey.
The fact that it's true make is even funnier.
Knowing this highway, he knew where he could get away with speeding, in fact lots of people knew.  Until that time he gets to the off ramp, where there's a cop who pulls him over.  The cop says, "Boy, I've been waiting for you ALL DAY."  My brother, the funny bastard, "Well officer, I got here as soon as I could!"  The cop let him off.

"Throughout time there have always been the majority, who will only discuss what is currently accepted. "
And there are also quite a lot of us who will discuss damned near anything, provided that there is some evidence for it.
Let us know when you want to talk to that group (and please bring some evidence).
Incidentally, to save potential time wasting, "evidence" is not the plural of "anecdote".
