Title: If you pray please read this
Post by: Hadrian on 16/03/2006 18:16:42
If you believe in the power of payer or the sending of love and good wishes to someone then do so for my good friend DW who took his 21 year old son out of the river Liffey in Dublin this morning dead. He a wonderful man and good friend and I wish I could take his pain away. thank you Hadrian

What you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say.

I'm very sorry for your friends loss.  I'm sure the pain DW and his family are feeling is unbearable.  They are in my prayers.  I'm also praying for you.  I know it's hard to know what to say or do when a friend is grieving.  Best wishes to you all.

Hadrian,

I don't believe in God but I am soooooooooooo sorry for you friends loss and to all his family and friends.

..all I can do is hold you  and DW in my thoughts and send you all my humblest wishes and positive energy at this sad traumatic time.

It is so difficult to know what to say at times like this, but I want you and your friends to know that over here we are all thinking of you and hoping that somehow you can derive a little consolation in that my friend.

Dear Neil
Thanks for your thoughts. They certainly can do no harm and I believe we are all connected one way or another so for me no good thought is a waste. As to waht to do, I believe in the law of giving and there is no greater gift you can give then love and compassion. Be sure it is always received by those who are open to it.

Hadrian.

Like Neil, I don't believe in God or prayer, but I was saddened to hear of your friend's loss.  I can only say that he is at least fortunate in his choice of friends, and I'm sure you will be invaluable to him over the coming months.

He has a long and painful road to travel ahead of him, and I am sure you and his other friends will do all that is humanly possible to ease his journey along it.

One thing I will add, I assume that DW has a wife as well.  This is something that will affect them both, and it is not unknown for the stress of bereavement to precipitate a marriage breakdown.  I don't know why this happens, or how it can be prevented from happening, but I would just hope that those involved can prevent one tragedy from turning into two tragedies.

I been a low day for me that I need to transcend

Thank you for your concern my friend. You need not believe in anything for your good wishes to be of value just give them freely. Again with out needing to believe in anything they will return in abundance to you.

It is love with judgement that frees you from self-judgement.

I off now to meditate now before I go the sleep. So I will level you with a thought.

As long as there more love then hate, more good men then bad there is hope for all mankind what will you do to make it so.
