Title: Is my finger gonna be okay? *Frostbite?*

I was outside today for a couple hours. It's been 0 degrees f all day. I came in and my thumb didn't have much red color to it, and it was rock hard, like you coudln't press it and move it at all. So, I put it in some water for awhile then took a shower. It seems to be okay now, Its starting to get color back, I can feel the blood rushing back into it. As long as I keep it warm do you think it'll start getting worse?
It's bigger then my other thumb.. not much, but i can tell its bigger..
help..

Not too warm! You should keep it elevated, its probably a bit late for me to tell you though...

Yeah, it defietnly really hurts.. aching pain.. =( should i takee iprofen or something?
I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.. cuz i mean if i can feel it that's probably good ha but bad cuz it hurts..
Its -11 outside right now with windchills around -35.. good thing its 71 inside ha..

The best way to describe the pain is it feels like I hit my finger really hard with a hammer, but it isn't brused. I think it'll be fine though..

Yup.. Not as bad as it was though. I can sorta play piano with it.

my aunt got frost bite from falling down and spending the night outside on her bak stes in 45 degree F.

 They put her feet into a warm not hot water bath!
 she did water therapy treatment to increase the circulation... they said no rubbing as it could damage the skin further..

I hope your fingers feel better really soon.

Yeah, atleast It didn't fall off. I need that for piano, gutiar, saxophone and all my other intruemtns

Yesterday I was messing around with the bilster on my finger and then water start coming out threw the top of my finger where the bilster wasn't even at. I was thinking, woah that ain't good ha.
And the caclus part started peel off so i just took the fingernail trimmers and trimmed it back a little bit. I sure did kill enough of the skin.

Well, it was whatever typa of clear liquid was in my blister. It must of traveled from it underneath the dead skin to where there was a hole. ha

Nah, It doesn't hurt.
It never has whenever I get blisters. That's why I don't understand why everyone says their blisters hurt when they break

Mom said that too. It looks like a blister, had "water" in it and was a big "bubble". That's what I call a blister idk ha. But just a few months ago I was cutting wood, without gloves. That'd make a blister right? ha And those didn't hurt either.
