Hey there
I have this quirk, I love to cut up a citrus fruit and leave it overnight in a jug of water, then the next day I consume the water and love it!! beats coke and fanta all the time!
I usually use lemons and oranges, but I am experimenting with grapefruit, and after I down a tall glass of the grapefruit water I feel very thirsty and have to down a glass of normal water afterwards.
This is not the same as oranges and lemons, it might be because of the bitter taste...
Any suggestions???

Perhaps it has something to do with the sugar content to acidity ratio:
Fruit: Sugar g/100g Acidity
Lemon 2 5%
Grapefruit 6 2%
Orange 11 1.2%
