Title: Can synthetic biology provide green industry?
Post by: thedoc on 20/07/2016 23:36:26
Can we manipulate DNA to create "living factories" for a greener tomorrow, or is this technology beyond our reach?

Read the article (http://www.thenakedscientists.com/HTML/articles/article/synthetic-biology-hope-or-hype/) then tell us what you think...

I was wondering what kind of role that DNA Sequencing(http://www.cd-genomics.com/Next-Generation-Sequencing.html) plays in the application of Synthetic biology. Otherwise, the application of synthetic biology is wide. I gain much knowledge about this fields from this article. I bearly know things about synthetic biology before.

Synthesis ( http://www.bocsci.com/Drug-design.html ) in chemistry has gone into a relatively mature stage, which is more advanced in chemistry field than any other aspects. Synthesis can be used to yield the chemical compound which are rarely existing in natural and it can also be applied to present the chemicals not actually exists in the world for better medical treatment or other application. But the some synthesis method are needed to be leveled up to achieve better results.
