Title: Serum Proteins

Does anyone know of any diseases apart from the amyloidoses that are caused by the over-expression of a serum protein?

Well, I suppose you could loosely include BSE in there since Prion Protein (PrP) is expressed on the surfaces of various circulating cells and accumulates (in the pathological form) peripherally before neuroinvasion.
