Title: Where is geological remote sensing taught?
Post by: rlcasey on 08/06/2011 09:48:54
Hi, I'm interested in finding out which academic institutions provide courses on geological remote sensing. I'm a student representative for a special interest group in geological remote sensing, but as I am based in the UK, I am finding it difficult to find out about courses available in the international community. If anyone has any recommendations of universities or even places to find information on that I'd really appreciate it!

Texas Christian University in Fort Worth has a good group. Stanford I believe and UCLA as well.

But this isn't my field so be cautious of my response and do your own research, writing to some of the people you see who have published papers in the field. Nearly every person in sciences has asked for direction from others at times and do not mind being asked their opinions. - And don't as for just one school. Let it be know you need to be flexible in your choice.
