The principal seems the same--emission of light on an exact frequency.
Just the scale is different. And another question that has relevance to the oddity of monoatomic gold---this double water molecule might make up the difference in atmospheric radiation? How did these strange escapees from the physics zoo happen?

I've never heard of Water Masers before. I've been looking for those.
I see that shape a lot in all sorts of things. It has physics that are very useful. I'm not allowed to post my own ideas however.
