Ideas on Non-Continguous Spatial Transposition

I vehemently dislike the idea of teleportation advocated by Star Trek and Theoretical Physicists. The idea that we could disintegrate the body and reassemble it someplace else leaves me feeling quite queasy. I'd rather entertain the idea that we can bend space to travel merely by walking across from peak to peak of the space-time curve. Say you're in Frankfurt and you want to travel to New York, normally you'd have to traverse the entire surface of the globe between the two points. If you could bend the curve you could initially begin to visualize the far point getting closer to you without having moved at all. Further bending the curve brings the far point to a distance that you traverse by taking a step. What do you see when the bending occurs? I theorize the closer areas shrink down to the very small (perhaps falling/rising/entering? into the fifth dimension) and the farther areas become more prominent. If you think about generalizing applied principles, we may already be traveling in such a manner, but with very small transposition distances.
Do you see normal space and bent space at the same time? What do others see? What is the extent of the effect? Is it just your electrical sphere of your body or does it extend further? What do the people at the far end see as your space gets closer to theirs? Is it always normal to them, and you just appear out of nowhere? Or do they see you closing in on them? If someone shoots a gun in your direction as you close the gap does the bullet traverse bent space or normal space?
How can we generate the energy required to bend space? Can we use our minds to visualize bending space, letting our subconscious provide the power tapping into the infinite?

I see the fifth dimension as an enabler for NCST. If we define the fifth dimension as a dimension outside of time then it can define a dimension of "no space" or alternatively a space-time infinity. If in opposition our perceptions reveal this space-time infinity as tending to "no space" can it actually be a self-cancelling oscillation (like a particle-antiparticle annihilation), a positive infinity oscillating with negative infinity without regard to time? In our perception we wouldn't be able to detect it unless we could affect the balance of the oscillation. Were such a structure possible, upsetting the balance could harness sufficiently enormous energies to bend space. Can our will alone affect the oscillation and provide sufficient energy to bend space?

Of course this type of travel doesn't have to remain in the horizontal plane. It can enable travel in any x-y-z direction. It wouldn't get you flight, but it would get you levitation, simulated flight. Travel could be vast distances, to your neighbor's backyard, or thirty meters above you. A sequence of transpositions would give the illusion of speed, it would give the illusion of flight. A series of small transpositions back to the previous position would give the illusion of hover if the transposition left you up in the air. Transposing yourself into the air, a position above the ground, does not defeat gravity, gravity would still pull you down. So you let it pull you from position 'A' and transpose yourself back to 'A' and the illusion is you are hovering. Transpose from 'A' to 'B' to 'C' quickly gives the illusion of flight, when in fact there is no real movement at all, just a change of position. For practical purposes you would become nearly invisible to modern radar, even when someone could visually see you. Modern radar depends on an interpretation of the radar screen to be most effective in controlling aircraft. Radar systems employ Moving Target Indicators (MTI) and Transponders to aid them in air traffic collision avoidance. Transponders send a unique code via radio to ensure the aircraft is not ignored on the radar screen. An MTI system removes clutter that would otherwise make a radar operator's chore very difficult. Radar will bounce back on anything moving or not and create an indicator on the screen. The MTI system filters anything that has little or no movement. This filters out buildings, mountains and other stationary ground clutter. A good radar operator will switch views periodically between raw feed and MTI view, but most screens show the filtered MTI views. With NCST the person or craft would be filtered out since there is no real movement. "Moving" with NCST would just be a series of stationary locations only visible were gravity to cause a continuous drop. If you allowed gravity to drop you, you wouldn't allow it to crash you so those events would be short lived and those indications would tend to be ignored as well by the radar operators because of a lack of continuity.

Knowing or not knowing are successes or failures of imagination. What if instead of having a specialized wormhole structure we were already connected to all locations at the same time? If the fifth dimension is the interface/barrier how would we travel through it? If one were to enter the interface they would have access to every location at the same time. Imagine entering a special sort of house. In this house are many doors and windows. Imagine that if you moved through the house to the opposite wall the doorway there opened to Kuala Lampur, and an adjacent window looked out on Singapore, and two doors over opened on Tokyo. Your house would allow you to travel to many locations, just by moving through the house to an exterior reference point for the shell of the house. The location coordinate for the destination would be a coordinate system with the center of the house as the reference point, the zero coordinate. To travel between two locations we would enter the house through a doorway with a specific address/coordinate, move through the house, and exit at our destination through a doorway with a specific address/coordinate for that location. Can you imagine having a comfortable house where the main door was where you grew up and doors on opposite walls opened to Paris, where in the summer you would take strolls, to the Jungfrau mountain in the Swiss Alps, where in winter you would go skiing, to the white sand beaches of Waikiki to take a swim any time of the year? What is it that will allow us to open a door into that house, the fifth dimension?

The two formulas below look similar in structure, one is the formula for a five-dimensional hypersphere and the other is the formula for Einstein's theory. If we arbitrarily assume it is possible to travel millions of light years in a single second and have the belief that the formulations are incomplete, then all we would need find is the adjustment factor in the hyper dimensional construct to make it true within Einstein's equation.

Physicists postulate that higher dimensions exist, but that they are scrunched down to a very tiny structure, that we cannot perceive and that is why we have no evidence of their existence. I'd like to turn that idea on its head. It is not because these higher dimensions are very tiny, I postulate the fifth dimension is quite large, that it encompasses every point in four dimensions, yet because it is unaffected by time, it never registers in our physical perception. We need time to form our perceptions, to register memories, but since this dimension exists outside of time, our standard physical experimentation would never ever illustrate this existence. Entering the fifth dimension you should be able to go anywhere, anywhen. You don't travel, you are here then you are there.

It is very useful to simplify calculations when you can arbitrarily ignore constants or set them to zero. In the fifth dimension, as long as we only want to travel from point to point in the same instant, we can set time to be a constant and let it drop out of the equations. Then we need only run calculations in four dimensions vice five. The derivative of the five dimensional equation with time as a constant would give us the tangent line connecting two points on the hypersphere.
