Hmmm...  interesting question.
There are several types of "invisible ink (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invisible_ink)", with perhaps the heat sensitive and UV sensitive inks being the most well known. 

I think you really need a darkened room and a UV light source.  There are glasses with white LED lights (http://www.bestmassage.com/opticbrights-led-reading-glasses.html) that might be able to be modified with UV emitters.
