As king and lord of this forum, has neilep influenced your thinking/spelling as regards the above?
-
Yep,in addition to my spelling, I can no longer eat lamb, and I have a strange compulsion to wear stockings and high heels all the time.

I find the stockings chafe against the woolly leg warmers though.

And wet wool is just not on... it sets my teeth on edge!
( it genuinely does! eek!) [:o]

Nope. Wet wire wool is quite acceptable as a cleaning tool. You should see the palava when I have to take a wool jumper out of the washing machine....!!

Is that your new hobby??
-
I used to lick toads but I'm trying to give it up. Sheep are a softer option.

I can honestly say that there has been absolutely no influence on my spelling, nor has it affected my cartoon collection hobby.

Other than I now avoid the North London area, he has had no affect upon me. Now if you'll excuse me, I must finish my ablutions and dab on a little

It's pure luff.
Note: Luff or luffing may refer to: Luffing, when a sailing sheet is eased so far past trim that airflow over the surface is disrupted. Source: wikipedia.

I guess the past tense luft as in "I luft you yesterday" must really confuse Germans. They must think luft is a bit airy fairy!
