I have a white sore/blister on my gums, its easily irritated and freaking me out. Does someone know,...That is a silly question considering who I'm asking, what it is and how to get rid of it?
Or how to tell the difference between thrush and a cakersore?

Bradley...It sounds to me like you do in fact have a Canker Sore (mouth ulcer)..... Have you been under any stress very recently ?....I think thrush would be accompanied by a rash rather than just one ulcer....
there are over the counter remedies to ease it...I don't know if you get Bonjela in the US but here in the UK it's a good pain reliever....you could also try gargling with warm saltwater.
Do NOT worry...it'll go .....however..if you still have it in a week or two then pop down the doctors...
It's worth mentioning that I'm only offering this advice based on my experience ( cos I've had them too) and your description....I'm not a doctor so if anybody else wants to voice an opinion then go for it peeps
Men are the same as women.... just inside out !!

The other thing that makes mouth ulcers go away much faster (if that's what it is) is antiseptic mouthwash. Amazing stuff.

I find swishing with an alka seltzer works as well
