A friend's son has recently died & she tells me the cause was 'ANGIOTROPICALMPHOMA'. I don't think she's spelt it correctly & can't find anything on it, has anyone any suggestions as to what she might mean please?

Angiotropic lymphoma -- tough diagnosis to make cause the symptoms are usually very non-specific -- skin lesions, anemia, fever, elevated sed rate (a non-specific test for inflammatory process), markedly elevated LDH (evaluates the presence of tissue damage). With early diagnosis, and aggressive chemotherapy, it has a decent remission rate.
