Post by: bobsparta on 17/09/2013 10:43:21
i'm not sure if this is related to science but,
Is telekinesis (power to move objects with your mind) real?
and if it is real, how does it work?

Have you ever heard of Princeton University's PEAR lab? PEAR stands for Princeton Engineering Ananomaly Research. They did a lot of experimentation with the influence of the mind on machines. Use google to check them out!

It went pear-shaped (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/go_pear-shaped) in 2007 ... https://www.princeton.edu/~pear/press-statement.html

So, walking over and picking up a coffee cup (with your hand) doesn't count for affecting matter with the brain?

Brain waves can certainly be picked up with EEG, and there are now EEG controlled remote control devices.

Sometimes the radio or TV can be finicky.  Moving the rabbit ears with one's hand is fine, but as soon as one lets go, the channel drifts.  And I believe at times it will change just with movement around the antenna without actually touching it.  Still, I suppose that isn't the same as telekinesis.
