Title: What is the process of conversion?
Post by: JimBob on 16/07/2009 04:09:25
Hello All.

I am wondering what the process of conversion is all about. Well not really - I could sod all care about conversion philosophy or any psychological gar-barge.

I just wish to post some pictures:

WHY, YOU ASK?

Well this is why - it is all 'bout this stuff

The BRAIN TRUST (Bass and JimBob) discuss the small pilot mining works to the right.

View down the valley from mine - elevation about 7,000' (2130 meters) above sea level - 600 feet below mine site.

Above is located in the desert of Nevada above the valley floor at about 4200 feet, very similar to this.

Was the stuff in the green pot what Jimbob had cooked for dinner?

And well done to Bass for putting up with the aforementioned rock **** for a whole week!!  [;D]

The "CONVERSION" is almost complete....

JimBob is a closet hard-rocker [:o]
(nothing like a bit of shiny metal to bring one out of the closet)
Like Pavlov's dogs, he's now patterned to tremble and mumble incoherently at the mere mention of the word "carbonate"

'scuse me JimBob- you can calm down now

MWAHAHAHAHAHA [;D]

You have failed, it was a sham - a total sham! I will NEVER be an ex-sedimentologist. I do have enough sense to stand firm on that.

Yet why would anyone live in a place where the AVERAGE low temperature during February is 15° F and the average snow pack is up to 70 inches and total snowfall is about 70 inches? The American Indian word for the city means "place of freezing/cold liquid." (Wikipedia)

Now THAT is a lack of sense. And if I hear anything about the heat where I live, I would just remind you I still have all my toes.

WOW!  You learn something new every day.  I had no idea that "Lolo" meant "place of freezing/cold liquid." [:o]

I always thought it was derived from a mispronunciation of "Loulou", a French trapper who was one of the first white inhabitants of Lolo Creek.

And who could ever forget Lolo's greatest discovery, a latrine:

(quote from http://lewisandclarktrail.com/section3/montanacities/missoula/travelerrest.htm)

Field Notes from
July 19, 2002

The Traveler's Rest Preservation & Heritage Association reported that archaeologists uncovered what appears to be the latrine used by the Corps of Discovery while camping at Traveler's Rest.  Significant amounts of mercury were found in the soil where a Corps' latrine was located.  The expedition regularly used mercury as a medical treatment.

(Laughing uncontrollably)

Your biggest claim to fame is a LATRINE????

The definition of the name is of "Missoula," not "Lolo." Of course, this means that your biggest claim to fame is still a hand dug toilet but ...

to each their own
