Title: I have a good website for A-level students. Do you have any?
Post by: Make it Lady on 31/08/2010 20:45:32
Just been helping Murray with some holiday work for his A-level Chemistry and came across a really good website. All students should try it, including those needing to revise a bit when starting Chemistry degrees. Here it is:
http://www.chemguide.co.uk
Has anyone got any more suggestions?

I am going to be doing A2s this year and good call on chemguide- I love it!
Other useful sites include:
http://www.s-cool.co.uk/alevel/chemistry.html
http://www.knockhardy.org.uk/sci.htm
http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/learning/bitesize/higher/chemistry/ (this is for scottish highers but is good for the basics if you pick out the bits relevant to your syllabus)

However, chemguide is definately the best out of these.

Depending on which syllabus you are looking at there should also be past papers/specimen papers available on the exam board's website- I am on OCR A and so they provide lots of past paper materials on the site which is really useful to get practise.

Hope this helps [:)]
