Hi all, for those who know Murray, he has just got his GCSE results. He got 5 A*s, 4 As, 1B and a C.
Of course Chemistry and Physics were both A*s.
As you can imagine, I'm telling everyone including the lady behind the counter at Greggs. Poor girl didn't know what a GCSE was.
Anyway, he is staying on at his current school as it has a 6th form. He will complete his maths A-level and do further maths and he will also take Chemistry, Physics and Computer Studies.
Just thought some more of the world needed to know.

Are those smilies waving pants or bras. Murray will appreciate both!

Well Done Murray !
Doesn't compare to the yellow ribbon I got when I was 7 for swimming a whole width of the pool !..so there !!..nyah nyah nyah !!..Ewe must feel so deflated now !!
-
With all that wool that is quite an achievement for a ickle sheep.

I'm very buoyant !...a natural floatation device !

Congrats!
I am hoping he will apply. My friend is a Chemistry lecturer at Oriel. I'm sure he will give advice on interview technique.
Murray starts the sixth form tomorrow and is currently shaving his mustache off as he is not allowed one at his school.
-
Congratulations! I don't understand the grading system you have but it looks like he's done great.
Tell everyone! all children need to see how proud they make their parents..
-
Murray looks like my baby again now his face hair has been removed. Murray is missing waxing the ends of his lip fluff. He was hoping for a handle bar affair. I'm sure he will grow one as soon as the A-levels are done.

....actually..I think it was an orange ribbon !
-
....come to think of it...it may have been a blue ribbon !
-
Such a nice chocolate bar

Me or the chocolate bar or both or both of us together with a chocolate bar? I'd better stop!
-
yes, yes and thrice......erhmm.....yes !!
...come to think of it now...I think it was a certificate...not a ribbon !
-
...actually...I think it was an emblem !..not a certificate !
-
good results. he can change the world! :)
-
At the moment it takes him all his time to change his socks!
-
from even to odd, socks?
-
He only wears odd socks because he says it is a waste of time matching them.
-
Try this (variation of a very old) one on him then.
"If you have 10 red socks and 10 blue socks in a drawer, without looking, how many do you have to take out to guarantee you have a unmatched pair?"
-
11 - or 2 if you are colourblind.
-
3
-
unmatched pair
3 could be red, red, red ie no unmatched pair. so 3 to get a matched pair and 11 to get an odd pair - yet wearing odd is easier!
-
Oop misread question.
-
Actually, it's not 2 if you're colour/color blind. You'd take all 20 out and you still wouldn't find an unmatched pair. [;D]
