Yes, H N Y  to you DoctorBeaver and everyone else on the forum.

Did you know that there's one of your kind on the loose after escaping with two females from a sanctuary in Devon? The females were recaptured but he is at large still; he is large too - 40kg.

Apparently Devon is 'ideal beaver country' and they escaped after heavy rain and rising water levels short-circuited their electric fence!

he is large too - 40kg.

That's a bit above average for a European beaver (Castor Fiber). Their usual weight is 32-37Kg although they have been known to reach 48Kg. They are about 30% larger than their American cousins Castor Canadensis (and considerably more intelligent!  [:P] ).

Well, the frogs are why he wears leathers (untanned but leather none the less)

Of course they're untanned. I wouldn't leave my leathers out in the sun!
