Greetings all,
I once asked a question here as to what blind people (from birth) dreamed about. It was never really answered so I thought I'd ask if anyone knows if blind people hallucinate ?..and what they 'see' whilst hallucinating ?
I imagine this can only really be answered by someone who know's a blind person and can ask them.
still, it would be fascinating to find out eh ? whajafink ?

Thank ewe for this..that's a great link and very informative...but I notice this
"CBS predominantly affects people with visual impairments due to old age or damage to the eyes or optic pathways."
What about people who have been born blind ?

they talk about blind (form birth) folk dreaming in 'sensations' I suspect that hallucinating would be similar.

Ah, good spotting ewe.
There are other types of hallucinations than just visual such as auditory hallucinations and olfactory hallucinations so I guess blind people can experience these but visual ones I cannot help ewe with.

That's very interesting JnA. My uncle is blind, but not from birth, I must ask him if he knows anybody that he can ask.
