Hello there !
I'v made a bet with a friend about this thing.
He says that if you shoot a Three-D Film ( Avatar for exm ) with a ordinary video camera and u set the Three-D glasses infront of the camera, you can save the File ( Movie ) and watch in from your PC without wearing the 3-D Glasses and you will see the movie like its an 3-D movie.
I think that hes wrong, but i dont know how to prove it, any ideas???

Mark, you're quite righ, and your friend is quite wrong.
To see anything in 3d, there has to be a subtly different image reaching each eye. There are a few different ways this can be achieved (there's another thread on here about how 3d films work), but this way will only give you a 2d image, as the same picture will reach each eye.
Unless he means to split the screen and have you watch it with crossed eyes (like viewing a 'magic eye' picture), but I expect that would become uncomfortable quickly!
