Title: The Earth as a whole, a CELL.
Post by: Seany on 11/04/2007 19:26:43
I was thinking, that within our cell, there are many many more things within it. Similar to that of the Earth. There are humans, animals, rivers, seas, everything in it.. So.. I was thinking that the Earth as a whole, could be some kind of cell. And the other planets in the universe are cells too. And with these cells, make up a universe. Which is the initial creator? I'm not sure what made me think of this.

I also thought about Atoms.. And the electrons circling the nucleus. Isn't this in someway, almost the same as our solar system? With the Sun being the nucleus, and the planets the Electrons?

I think the whole world, universe, revolves round it self. And we're back to square one again. Maybe the cells in our bodies, are also planets, like we are living now? And it goes forever onwards?

Technically, a cell is some form of enclosure (in another sense, a prison cell needs walls to be a cell).

What I think you are thinking about is separate semi-isolated subsystems.  All of what you describe, the solar system, the Earth, an atom, a living cell, are all subsystems with complex internal dynamics.

The nature of their isolation is different in each case, and the internal dynamics is different in each case, but the overall perspective that each can be thought of as a separate system only loosely interacting on a higher level with its environment is true of each of these entities.

Hmm, thats what makes me curious. That there is something BIGGER than space itself. Or SMALLER than an atom (Which has already been discovered..)

I think I am going to dismiss this theory. [:D]
