What is animal reanimation?
I was searching for it on Google when I found a really old film from the 1940's that showed an experiment where they revived dogs after 9 - 15 minutes of being dead! I never heard about this before and I'm not even sure if it’s true, anyway if it's real where are we now in this field 66 years later, or where did it take us?
Here is the link if you want to see it (19min)

Clinical death for up to 15 minutes has been reversible since the 1952 invention of the defibrillator;
now BioTime is on the brink of extending that limit to hours [using hypothermia]...
"There's an old axiom of resuscitology,"..."You're never dead until you're warm and dead."

That puts me in mind of when General Franco was on the way out. He wasn't 'dead' until they decided he could be. As long as they were pumping air in and his chest was going up and down, he was alive.
