after reading everyone's ideal dates i was wondering what your ideal honeymoons are. i'd have to say again, somewhere tropical and warm and... private
-
That would be nice not too warm.. comfortable somewhere with a beautiful waterfall where you slept close to it and could hear it all night! someplace where you could be alone with your sweetie and just be quiet and still in his arms. Safe warm comfortable and at peace.. somewhere you could laugh and giggle and have great fun without worry of bugging other people.. definitely secluded and private .. I am a private person in that way... close to the water I love the ocean and waterways of all sorts!
-
As I said, I havn't had a date, so IDK. LoL.
-
You best get a date.. It is about what you would like to do on your dream date not what you did.. Pretend you are taking a beautiful young women out on a date.. where would you like to take her first and how would you like her to feel about that choice.. and about you? Think of something you like to do as obviously if she accepts that means she is already interested in the person that you are so pick something that is special that you like to do and share it with her, then think about the things you like about her and pick something else to do that you know she likes... then a dinner or picnic can rarely go wrong, maybe a concert or some nice music or something mutually acceptable to you both! Then make your dream date wonderful Like you! YAYYYYYYY!
-
Predend? LoL. Yeah IDK I ain't like Anthony. LoL.
-
You must have some hopes and wishes...eh?
-
Yeah I do, but I ain't just get up in there face and ask them like anthony
-
LOL... Well you don't have to bowl them over or be pushy just be polite and nice like you are in here!
-
then sim... after your imaginary dream girl and you go on your imaginary dream date, pretend it went really well, you fell in love and got married. where are ya going for your honeymoon?
-
As I said, I havn't had a date, so IDK. LoL.
You could always go for an arranged marriage - then you might get to have a honeymoon without having a date [;D]
Incidentally, many people don't get more than one honeymoon, so they don't get a lot of experience to find out what they like or don't like on their honeymoon - so I am sure in that regard you are at no disadvantage to Kadie (or me), neither of us have ever had a honeymoon; while other's may have had a honeymoon, but are not looking towards having a second one. Then again, there are some people who have 4 or 5 weddings, although I am not sure if by the 5th one they worry about the honeymoon or not (they are probably too broke from paying all the alimony on the previous marriages [:)]).
-
My dream honeymoon would be to wake up & realise the wedding was just a dream.
-
OOOH ... Are you going to remain a bachelor your whole life .. or are you married? LOL
-
LOL Italy
-
Italy is nice.. speaking of Italy why have I not seen that nice Italian forum member lately is he on vacation too? LOL...

I have never been in a relationship where I felt that way! My husband and I are friends well we try and I don't harbor terrible feelings for him.. had my feelings hurt really badly many times..we have both hurt each others feelings.. but we are friends and will be always.
-
i think that's the best way to end things. i'm friends with almost all of my ex boyfriends
-
There are times when I know that is not possible..It is sad..
-
I'm still on my honeymoon. [:)]
-
aww!
-
That is great!
-
My first (!) was the Maldives - very romantic but actually not very private. Great snorkelling though! The second was in Italy, and we stayed by Lake Garda, so we had water & mountains - beautiful scenery! I am not anticipating a third!
-
Was it a second honeymoon with your same wife, or a second marraige, or you mind me asking?
-
No, I don't mind you asking at all! It was with my second wife - so much better the second time around!
-
Well I am happy for you! Good luck with your marraige.. I did a lousy job with mine..
-
Yeah, well, I probably wasn't that good in my first! Hence the soul searching (see other posts!).
-
Well I have certainly been doing that the last few years and soul searched my self right into aloneness.....
-
Well it would all depend on what my bride and I like to do. If walking, then somewhere with breath taking scenery, scuba diving, wildlife etc
For me though, I agree with Kadie, a tropical isle sounds lovely.
I would probably want a place just like my day dream. A beautiful beach house on a white sandy beach, crystal clear waters with a jetty and a small boat. And a hammock between two palm trees, a double hammock that is [;)]
-
If I were ever stupid enough to get married again I'd want my honeymoon to be in a brewery that was handing out unlimited free samples so I could drown my impending sorrows

I was like that a few years ago. The problem is it's never easy to have someone say 'no' to you, but sometimes you just need to give it a try. You never know, plus regrets can be worse than a 'no'

Hahaha, I used to be like that, now I try not to think too much about the future. But you're still very young, just enjoy growing up, meeting new people, learning a lot of new things and that time when girls become a lot more important to you [;)]

The operative word being pass, and you shall be thankfull when it has passed.
-
come on... dating is fun at his age! your parents drive... and pay. there's virtually no pressure about getting married and having kids....
-
nobody agrees?
-
Ido not agree .. You want it to be great I meant it differently! LOL
-
The comment was a touch tongue in cheek, although I never actually did date at his age, so I could not comment as to whether it would be fun or not - I was even more cynical at his age than I am today (probably partly to do with coming from a family with divorced parents - it makes you acutely aware of the fragility of human relationships). I have never felt pressure to get married and have kids (which no doubt contributes to the fact that I never have done either).
-
my parents were divorced too. a rather nasty divorce. i know what you mean. i actually tend to not expect my boyfriends to stick around for very long. makes it a pleasant surprise when they do.

Thanks George I am not good with tongue and cheek! Although I am trying desperately to learn! LOL .. My dad died when I was an infant!
