Title: Robotic Cleaners
Post by: Jman2014 on 18/06/2014 18:07:47
Hi Guys,

I just wanted to enquire whether anyone could offer me some advise on Robotic Cleaners and their capabilities.

I run a contract cleaning company that supplies cleaning services to pubs, restaurants, hotels, offices and was wondering if there was a robotic cleaning device that could be put into each site that could be programmed for the tasks required for that specific site and the order of the tasks. From cleaning toilets, mopping floors, vacuuming the carpets, wiping the shelves of dust etc..

If this is possible, I would like to know what sort of price you would be paying for such a devise and if there is someone on here who has the ability to be able to produce such a devise.

If there is someone who can help me in such a way then there could also be a business proposition in it.

Thanks for any info

James

The only cleaning robot that I am aware of is the Roomba, and it is, as far as I know, limited to vacuuming floors. The kind of stuff you are talking about sounds like what is currently the subject of cutting-edge research, which is to say, it is not yet available in the marketplace.
