well ive only been here a couple of weeks,and managed to tick most people off.
so as a reward,what amusing ways can you come up with to remove me from society or worse,no bad language,anything goes im thick skinned.[}:)][;)]

I seems remarkably conceited of you to believe that of all the persons on this forum, let alone of all the other forums and lists I participate in, that you would find yourself anywhere near the top of those I would choose to remove. [:)]

i dont aim to be at the top of anyones list,obviously ive found the one person who isnt ticked off with me.
im the sort of person,i wouldnt hang around with.
i cant help it i just say what pops in my head and hang the consequences,its got me in the poo a few times.you know sarky comments to police,judge,commanding officer,wife,so i thought that those that do have me at the top of their "TO DO" list,would like to have a dig,a pop,or vent some venom,anything to lighten the day.[8D][:)]

OK, it's probably terribly unwise to be too honest about people, but here goes.
You've been on this forum long enough, and prolifically enough, that I think most people will have formed some opinion of you (as no doubt they have of me).
I have set my browser to block images on your postings (as I have on UKMicky's postings) because I find animated graphics too distracting when I'm trying to read text. No big deal – slight irritation that is easily managed.
When I see your name as the most recent poster on a topic, I will expect to find something that is likely to be low on signal to noise ratio, high on irreverence, but without malice. You do seem to have an obsession with making sure you do not go unnoticed. But, as I say, the important aspect in all of this is that nothing you have said has shown any malice.
I am not going to comment on what your wife, or the police or judiciary, might think of you, because it is often the case that the persona a person projects in one environment has little bearing upon the persona a person has in a different environment (some of the worlds worst murderers are reputed to be the nicest of people, and no doubt visa versa).

i know MY failings,and admit to them,some peopleare incapable of that so attack others.

Ray dont take Georges comments to heart, I doubt he meant to leave you with the feeling that he was personally attacking you, he just needed to voice his opinion in a hope that you, me and others will have a bit more respect to the scientific and serious side of this site and not turn every topic into a joke thread ,i think.
I see George as a man who loves science but more importantly he enjoys answering peoples questions,he enjoys giving his views in regards to scientific and serious matters. Which is a benefit for us and this forum? ( Because I know if I get something wrong George will reply and put me right.( Ill change that) he will give me his opinion ). I dont mind, I dont always agree but I'm happy to listen because he can often give valid reason to his arguments/replies (on occasions).[:)]
This is meant to be mainly a science forum with a little bit of friendly humour attached but recently (and its not just you, it me its lots of people) and maybe we have been encroaching to much into the science and serious posts, we need to leave some of the science topics on topic
Lots of the serious topics get taken over by people who do not really wish to discuss the topic. Ive been guilty in the past.[:)]
I feel we need to cut back on the humour etc (a bit) leave some of the topics true to the reason of posting; and leave some but not all of our humorous repartee to the topics which obviously merit a funny response.
George respond and put me in my place if I have got it totally wrong or if any body else would like to raise any issue's.

Not me !!..I am the perfect example of good behaviour !!
There has indeed been a preponderance of light hearted banter recently and it's no bad thing either....but if it treads toes on the real science of a subject then there can be a danger where it diminishes the thread and puts people off.
There is a part of this forum called General discussion..inside of that is ' just chat ' ...That is the place to let your hair down or in mine and michaels case, get the polish out !!...but that does not mean the humour is restricted to that part of the site only..no no no.
I know I am guilty myself but I have learned to find the fine divide. (still under debate !) The majority of my posts are generally of a whimsical nature but there is still science within them. My toaster thread may appear quite silly initially but I'm genuinely interested in the relation between right and left handedness with regard to every day objects....I used the toaster because we all have one and because of what I have observed.
Ray, you are an effervescent bubble of elational joy !!...I have seen in other threads the smiles you have brought here...in fact I have seen your piccy though originally I thought wifey was standing next to her grandfather !![:D][:D])...and you have posted excellent posts.
Please don't beat yourself up about this...absolutely NO ONE wants to roast you on a spit !! (why does that make me think of spit-roasting ?...cos I'm a dirty filthy git that's why ? [;)])...you have most certainly over-reacted...and that's ususally my privilege as Michael can confirm.....In fact ..if you had seen the recent posts that I have had to delete..well..half of them were directed at me personally..they were truly disgusting !!.....as far as I'm concerened you are welcome here....Michael is right and George is correct when he recognizes you show no malice here at all and I believe his points are valid too.

Let me reiterate, I recognise that your comments were without any malice, and my response was likewise. It was not intended to put you down, or show any disrespect to you.
Your post invited comment and I felt that maybe some guiding comment would not come amiss.
I think you are a very bright guy, and have much to offer.
Like Neil and Michael, I wish you well and hope you will remain with us.
PS. What's with all this French – I assume you all mean George's, not Georges (sorry, I've been too much in the company of the apostrophe police [:)]).

yes george is right,i can be a divvy,humour hides many things.

my string was put there because i wanted to se how inventively(is that a real word) people could dispose of someone,using myself as sample matter,it was posted for a laugh,wish i had asked how to cook a roast now[V]
