I listen to lots of music, and enjoy artists across most genres (except perhaps 'Urban' or 'RnB').
Some people I've discovered in the last few years, and really enjoy, include Hawksley Workman and Joanna Newsom, but there are a few bands I always seem to go back to:

The Cure, Ben Folds, Eels, the Pixies, Pink Floyd, Oingo Boingo, The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, David Bowie...

But I'll listen to Tom Waits any time I can. If you've not heard any, look him up!

Just about every band that fits under one of those genres I like..I dislike a lot of bands though. Van Halen is my favorite for sure..

Camel is an English progressive rock group which was formed in the 70's

And Rainbow is a hard rock and Heavy metal band which was also formed in the 70's by Deep Purples guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. I like Deep Purple, but I prefer more of Rainbows songs [:)]
