Feedback: The Vascular System and Multiple Sclerosis

Nancy MacIsaac asked the Naked Scientists:
Hi there, I read your article from 2006 on multiple sclerosis and the 'wacky' theory that it just might be related to vascular issues which are exasperated by environmental factors and I could not agree more! I am one of those poor 'idiots' who fell victim to the witchery of the Liberation Therapy four years ago and am happy to say the results were outstanding and so very enlightening for my understanding of why some of us just cope in earth's environment as well as others. Whether vascular problems are causal or symptomatic if MS I don't know, but what I do know is that the vascular system is at the root of the condition. Damn the naysayers - you have to live with it to understand it. So I just wanted to say kudos to the author and team - it was 2006 - the year I was diagnosed and this article was light years ahead of where we are today. If there's any further info or research I'd love to access it.
What do you think?
