Hello everybody!
Can someone give me some advice on how to heal shinsplints, or prevent it? [V] It HUUUURTS!!!! I work out five days a week (aerobics and fitness), and the shinsplints come and go, no I'm taking one week off, just to make it go away.
Cheers, Linn

I had too had 'shin splints' when I was doing a lot of running. The represent inflammation and injury to the sites where tendons insert into bones and will only heal if you give them a good break from load bearing exercise.
The fact that you have them in some respects demonstrates that you are over doing things and should cut back a little bit.
