Title: What About Saturns Newly Discovered Ring ?

Oh My !!...big enough for a BILLION Earths to reside within it !!

Could this have been a ring that was once a lot closer to Saturn ?

The reason I ask is because...is Saturns gravity really able to hold onto it ?

and what about the angle ?...any ideas ?

Presumably this must have been as a result of some sort of collision perhaps with phoebe ?
