Does anyone know where you can buy/acquire Cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine(R.D.X)?

I doubt this is available to anyone unauthorised.

Quite frankly, even if I did know, I would be very, very careful of who I give such information to, and I certainly would not publish such information on an open internet site for anyone to see.

Sorry knightbanner, but you really should know better than to ask such a question.

Jeez... you bronze age types and your reliance on physical geography and local proximity!

He should just check out http://www.restrictedmilitaryexplosives.com

or, if he doesn't want to deal with all the legal bother, he could just figure out how to unbolt the nuclear strong force and he would likely have all the explosive power he could ever want.....  shouldn't really be all that hard....  I imagine all you would really need is to figure out a way to shrink yourself and your toolbox down to slightly smaller than Planck Length and the rest would be child's play.

*Ahem*

There's a link in there which supposedly helps you find suppliers http://www.chemindustry.com/chemicals/742452.html

I have bought the stuff in the past. The chemical suppliers who specialise in calibration standards will sell it to ( I think) pretty much any company. I think we paid about £20 for 1 ml of a solution in acetonitrile. That comes out at about £20,000 per gram.
Nice work if you can get it.

Careful,

I believe anyone trying to purchase those things or its precursors will be listed as terrorists.

Since I was buying it for work and I work for the government I think I'm fairly safe.

Yes, I am sure that is what they will tell you... but in reality...(https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fbestsmileys.com%2Fevil%2F3.gif&hash=0ece0c60d4fafad186e71ebdd538e4ca)(https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fbestsmileys.com%2Fevil%2F3.gif&hash=0ece0c60d4fafad186e71ebdd538e4ca)

I think a certain Dr Kelly thought that!
