Hi, I installed Dansguardian, but can't find it in my apps anywhere. I use Linux Mint 5 Elyssa. Anyone know?

Did you download a binary, and if so, which type i.e. .rpm, .deb etc?

All I could see on the website were source downloads, so if you've just got the source you'll need to compile it, in which case, you probably won't see it as a menu item because the source is unlikely to include the post-install scripts to add a menu entry for every distro and session/window manager.

It's generally easy enough to set up a menu entry or a 'shortcut' type link for locally compiled s/w though.

Linux Mint is compatible with Ubuntu and Debian software.
