Title: HELP... garden question
Post by: DoctorBeaver on 04/07/2006 03:14:53
Does anyone know the name of the creeping vine that has the big, white, bell-shaped flowers? It's been driving me mad trying to remember.

Is it a "morning Glory" that you are talking about Doc? Sounds like "morning glory," Mostly classified as a weed, although I think it is quite lovely!.....Karen

I don't think that site covers what would probably be called weeds.

I think that the one you are talking about is convuvulous or Bindweed.  I had a lot of it on my first allotment and it's a right swine to get rid of. It has fat stringy white roots that break easily and each little bit can make a new plant in no time.

Hey Doc - I don't know if I would call it bell shaped, but I have a Mandivilla vine.  It comes in red and white.
