Here's an interesting one for ya.
My son's class was told by their science teacher today to put a slice of bread in a plastic bag.....and then swing it around for a minute and then just leave it and bring it into school tomorrow !!
Have ewe got any idea what this is all about ?...we don't know !..the teacher would not say !!
I reckon the teacher just wants a free loaf from all the kids !!
Whajafink ?

Perhaps it will force enough air through the bread to dry it out even inside the bag!
-
My guess is that they are going to watch it grow mould. Fresh bread is pretty nearly sterile, nobody's house is sterile so they should pick up some spores by swinging it about, even in a bag.
(I still liker this theory "I reckon the teacher just wants a free loaf from all the kids !!"

Thats a good point BC! Mold is highly probable I honestly have never heard of this one..
-
I would also guess mould, but normally you will also add a bit of water to the bag.

THANK YOU ALL VERY VERY MUCH !!
