Could time ever fold back on itself?

The idea of time not being a constant has always seemed weird and difficult for me to truly grasp. And when I read about virtual particles popping in and out of existence that seems to contradict everything I've always understood about science - like something coming from nothing. It would almost be easier to believe the particles were somehow slipping out of their time slot, so to speak, popping out of the future and into our present and back again.

Virtual Particles seem to behave similarly to entangled particles. With entangled particles you take say a photon and split it into two particles. The virtual particles construct compares to the entangled particles construct. Is the wave function of a particle actually better defined when the connection of the particle pairs exists in an extra dimension outside of 3 D space? It implies that quantum entanglement is a natural phenomena we've just noticed and now can manipulate.

I have a much more plausible Idea, If some time in the near future space ships can get more then A light month away from earth and deploy a telescope with epic zoom power and point it at earth you could pear back into time and see what happened in the past because it took the light one month to get to you from earth so you can see one month into the past on earth. but the information it sends back to NASA will take one month to get here because information travels in radio wave.
