To propose a smart and promising new "cancer theory" 1/100 of the previous block of words should be enough.
Why don't you make it easier and simpler?

Yea that hurts the eyes trying to read that.

I find it to be a complex concept. If I had the ability to express it in fewer words, I would choose to do so. Sorry.

ricwally, a very interesting read.

I too have been formulating a very similar theory, but I find your thoughts regarding cardiovascular scarring very interesting also.

Now my view, and increasingly so in the mainstream, is that 'stem cells' basically cause cancer.

One important theoretical discovery recently is that cancer invasion into body tissues follows exactly a law of tissue growth based on nutritional supply.

The basics gist is that, the 'immune system' as yopu call it, begins in the tissue and is backed up by known immune cells. The tissues stem cells probably induce the formation of cancert, but can interact with immune cells and, they can become immune cells and spread into the immune system. The pattern occuring is that, probably, a continuous command is present to cells to 'repair damage'. This will also attract mobile stem cells and immune cells from the surrounding area and can be implicated in the triggered growth of new blood vessells and inflammation.

Once in the tumour, the arriving and present cells mix and have stem cell properties - hence group interaction can facilitate direction of these cells forms.

As the cancer forms, this directive process seems to become isolated from the normal tissue, which is highly differentiated and regulated. The mass of cells thus form their own tissue, but due to mutational dysfunctions, they cannopt supply each other adequate nutrients nor properly regulate each others growth. Thus this dysfunctional mass of cells exopresses a range of mutations but generally tends towards more division and more attempts to repair damage comming from the tumours dysfunctionality(?)

Becauise these cells may be able to express forms that can become immune cells, and because it evolves such that recognisable cancer cells are destroyed, either immunological dysfunctions or chance mutations allow the evolving mass of a new tissue type to evade immunological clearance. Arrival of immune cells may also create problems because, in this instance they cannot identify a tumour, and may become subserviant to tissue differentiation signals within the tumnour, which are under a selective pressure to encourage more diviosion/repair or supply of blood vessels and nutrients, or migration to other sites and thereby obtain new nutrients. If these forms are partial immune specialisations, then they will invade immune targets.

The possibility that the stem cells of cancer are 'trying' to repair damage suggests that they may be rather susceptible to following signals in the body requesting new cells from their surroundings for effecting either repair or growth. In addition, the liklihood is that areas and tissues which normally have the most vigourous cell division, such as immune cell precursor sites, may be most vulnerable to forming cancer cells and thus explain many of the patterns seen in your post.

This tendency to go towards tissues that normalyy request cellular support, might explain the pattern of migration and the tendency for say, the breasts or reproductory tissues to become cancerous, as they experience ongoing adult genesis and tissue nutritional and growth stress.

These tissues also have more stem cells themselves.

The immune cell genesis sites will be the most vulnerable to the stresses that could promote this cancerous pressure.

Reproducing/damaged sites will also have the most vulnerability to abnormal nutrient supply stresses, such as a vitamin deficiency affecting the organism. This in turn can increase damage to the cells regulatory systems as well as its communicational systems, and upregulate inflammatory mechanisms that encourage cell division and injury, feeding the cycle.

There are probably many similarities between what we call ‘stem cells’ and the cells generated by the immune system. I will re-read your post when I can concentrate more on it.

For the purposes of discussing a ‘root cause of cancer’, we could probably use ‘stem cells’ and ‘immune repair cells’ as interchangeable terms. Stem cells are defined as a cell with no specific designated function. The repair aspect of the immune system causes the neighboring cells of an injured sight to rapidly divide in a process that we do not yet fully understand. The immune system may be employing stem cells in this endeavor. You make an interesting point about the stem cells “ following signals in the body requesting new cells from their surroundings for effecting either repair or growth.”
This ‘repair vs. growth’ demand for stem cells could account for the vast difference between childhood cancers and adult cancers. Since the present DNA model for cancer can not account for these differences between childhood and adult cancers, it is conceivable that the ‘root cause’ of this pandemic lies somewhere closer to what you and I are suggesting.

Cell disorder. Something similar to mental disorder.
