Why do foods like lamb and mint sauce go so well
together, while other combinations cause us to cringe?

I wonder whether the "Chris" who "likes fish fingers and custard" is a Doctor?
He could be either of Doctors Who (no, I can't quote episode or scene - I simply remember feeling fairly nauseated at the prospect of FF&C when the character requested it) or Chris Smith trying it on, as usual.
Very much enjoyed the flavour articles this week. The idea of vibrating at 50Hz with pepper!! I can confirm that a firm press of the lips will slow down a too hot feeling from pepper; my grandma taught this to me.
