Indiana Jones didn't know what dates were. I guess we don't much either. I need you to know first of all that I have been in contact with alot of very influential archaeologists from all over the world, including the Leakey team and Don Johanson. My main concern is that this might get escalated and wind up destroying alot of hard work. So of course, the discovery of a few stones shouldn't make all that much difference to your present theorys. I have a couple pictures I want to share.(https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.toledotel.com%2F%7Eope%2Fsalepics%2FScience%2Fquartzite.jpg&hash=56f2c54a7b89fa0a78c11fad5ccf6a1a)This is a quartzite core, probably less than 2500 years old.(https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.toledotel.com%2F%7Eope%2Fsalepics%2FScience%2FchertA.jpg&hash=8d7ce5fe9e14a03cd19e8346d119581a)(https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.toledotel.com%2F%7Eope%2Fsalepics%2FScience%2FchertB.jpg&hash=f53e4234f2c2b8db38ede0002c7ed02d)These are chert cores(graded quartzite-aging-pigment loss) LB Leakey dated items similar to these found in California, at 50,000 years old.(https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.toledotel.com%2F%7Eope%2Fsalepics%2FScience%2FflintA.jpg&hash=734ede5dcc6cd4c6262527742347ada6)(https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.toledotel.com%2F%7Eope%2Fsalepics%2FScience%2FflintB.jpg&hash=dd2b143c2bd440e11156520faf84f302) These are flint cores. Flint tools are extremely old. All these were found within 300 feet of each other on the Eastern bank of the Lacamas Creek in SouthWest Washington state. We are in the GPS as Ghost Town USA. My problem is pretty simple actually... I found something that I think is older....Any guesses(geologist anyone?) as to the dates of these would be greatly appreciated!
